Seven years ago, Manies Melts began as a spark of entrepreneurial spirit. What started as a part-time venture during a career transition for our founder, Krishana Jno-Baptiste-Francis, quickly evolved into a deep-rooted passion for business and craft.

Following a recommendation from her mother—a lifelong candle lover—Krishana started with a single test kit. The response was immediate: people didn't just like the candles; they loved them. As her skills sharpened, the brand found its heart, taking its name "Manies" from her son.

Becoming a mother changed everything. Krishana realized that a candle is never "just a candle"—it is a vital sensory experience. This inspired us to expand into massage candles and foot scrubs, creating a complete self-care ritual. Our mission is to remind fellow moms that while we do it all, pouring back into yourself isn't a luxury—it’s a necessity.
